Event Policy

The following policies are designed to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all attendees.

 

Booking Policy

  1. This event is free of charge. However, a £15 Refundable Deposit is required for each attendee to confirm their place at the event.

  2. After attending, the booking deposit can be collected from a designated Trustee or authorised volunteer on the day of the event.

  3. If you wish, you can choose the option during Registration to make this deposit a voluntary donation to support the charitable projects of the Trust.

  4. Please note that a refund of the deposit will not be applicable if there is non-attendance on the day or if a cancellation is requested after the 25th of July.

  5. Tickets are valid only for the named attendee unless otherwise agreed by the organisers.

  6. All attendees are requested to arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled boarding time. It will not be possible for registrants who arrive late to board the boat and join the celebrations.

  7. The organisers reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the programme where necessary due to operational, safety, or unforeseen circumstances.

  8. By completing your booking, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this policy.
     

Cancellation Policy

  1. If you are unable to attend, please inform the organisers as early as possible so that your place may be offered to another participant.

  2. Cancellation after 25th July 2026 will not be eligible for a refund of the booking deposit.
     

Refund Policy

  1. The £15 booking deposit is fully refundable if you have chosen the refund option during registration and attend the event.

  2. Refunds must be collected from a designated Trustee or authorised volunteer on the day of the event.

  3. A valid event ticket or booking confirmation will be required to process the refund.

  4. If a registered attendee does not attend the event (no-show), the £15 booking deposit will be treated as a donation to the Trust.
     

Donation Policy

  • For attendees who choose the donate option during registration, their refundable booking deposit will be donated in the attendee's name to support the Educare, Sociocare, and Healthcare initiatives of Sri Sathya Sai Charitable Trust UK.

  • The Trust sincerely appreciates every contribution, which directly supports its charitable and humanitarian activities.
